Panda Buffet in Alpine

One day, I would like to leave without feeling bad about myself. The food is good. Thankfully it is a buffet.

Good fresh food. Decent selection. Clean.

It was ok great service. But the food was cold

We both were sick following our meal here. Avoid this place if you are on a road trip! The cost was reasonable, service was okay, good variety of food, and the food was okay (for the cost). But I wouldn't recommend it due to the fact that we were sick within a few hours of eating there.

Fresh vegetables; most protein; tasty recipes. Egg rolls fried to perfection. AND they were social distancing correctly.

I love this place! I get delivery all the time. The Lemon Chicken is delicious, as is the Sesame Chicken, the Pork Fried Rice, the spring rolls and egg rolls, the dumplings, etc. I've never had anything here that didn't impress me. I've not eaten at the buffet part, so I cannot speak for that. But I recommend getting delivery or take-out whenever you're in the mood for a lazy dinner in. It's so good and the delivery is fast!

Always great if you order carryout or delivery, but kind of lacking on the buffet if you aren't there during the dinner or lunch rush. Very friendly staff

I like their food but I was there about 1800hrs and I ordered hot and sour soup and instead of making me fresh I got a lot of juice that had been sitting out since 1100hrs. Not much of what should have been in it. I will eat there again but I want fresh food.

Pretty small buffet, the food was okay. Don't think they were ready for our giant party, some things kept running out.

Panda Buffet:I enjoy eating at this place, the food is very good here, I always leave very full! There Mongolian Beef is very tasty and I always have to get there potato’s! When I come with a group I am here for at least an hour to and hour and a half! It has a table for any sized group and it’s worth the money. I come lunch hours because it is cheaper. In the town of Alpine, I prefer this Chinese Food Restaurant over Orient-ail Express. The reason why is there is more food choices and they make sure to refill the food! Refill drinks are free! They keep up with your drink refills! Great restaurant for all ages! Ice Cream is also served here. Lunch price is 9 dollars with a water as a drink.

Wonderful restaurant! Our host was a youngster, very polite which tells you a lot of how he's being raised.The buffet items were fresh, hot and tasty.The service outstanding. Strong wifi. Clean. Comfortable.When in Alpine, EAT HERE!

It was ok. Food was mostly cold and it didn't look like they changed it out any time prior. I didn't even finish my food, which is almost unheard of for me. The pudding was good and I love pudding so I'll give two star. Maybe if they had chocolate chips in the pudding I'd give 3.

Decent food and nice service. This is a Mom and Pops place, you will see the owner's children around the place like it was their living room. The wait service is excellent, they are very diplomatic and most of times they go beyond the call of duty to make you feel at home. Small food selection but good tasting food. I go there frequently when around that neck of the woods/mountains.

I eat here weekly because I'm always in Alpine for work. The buffet is good, but I highly recommend ordering from the menu. Everything I've ordered off the menu is fresh and delicious. The portions are always generous. The owners are always very polite and the atmosphere is pleasant.

The food wasn't great, they were slow, and they were pricy for what they offer.

It's an all you can eat Chinese Buffet and you will not get food poisoning.

Food is good but nothing special. Pretty much the same thing you get at 90% of the typical Chinese buffets but on a smaller scale.

It was very good. The waitress attended us fast, and they are so kind. I recommend this place to go eat. The food is delicious.

To be fair, I really like Chinese buffet food, also I rarely take time to rate anything that is not either horrible or fantastic.I have not ever been disappointed with Panda Buffet. The owners are always pleasant and accommodating and take extra measure to see we are satisfied. They also offer delivery.

We went here because we were turned away for arriving three minutes past Riata's 2:00 PM afternoon closing time. We were greeted warmly, treated like we were special, long-time friends, and treated to one of the best buffets I have ever experienced. Toe the line if you are going to Riata's because they have strict rules. Go to Panda if you want mercy, grace, and an excellent meal. We are grateful for their warm hospitality.

Came across by fluke of accident. Wasn't many things opened on Monday. Nice selection of food, limited but all fresh and warm.

If you think west texas chinese is good, youve never had good chinese... this place is ok at best. Better off cooking at home though..

Food way to sweet! Not sure the cook knows how to use spices.

Went at 3:30 Mist of food was cold or didn't look appetizing not very tasty poor selection. Place clean staff friendly. Would not come back.

The food was great, the service was awesome, and fast. The eating area was clean, bathroom's were clean. It was easy to park there. Will go again soon.
